Hey Guys,
So I've been focusing most of my time on my live webshow. Been getting cool guests scheduled, prizes for Contests! (check out the Halloween Art Contest - ends Saturday!) I've also been running nightly late mid day and/or late night chats (hey I'm on right now). And of course Video Fight Club, which seems to be my biggest draw.
But I was wondering as my friends, what you think. What would interest you in a community like this? Basically it's a niche facebook/myspace centered around my webshow and the podpocalypse blog.
Recently the forums have gotten a little fun activity. I'm trying to think of other fun threads to start, so if you've got an idea, please start one!
If you've already created an account, I encourage you to come back and see what we're upto lately. If you haven't join up now! We've been have some fun chats lately. It'd be nice to see some friendly faces.
Interns Wanted I'm also looking for a couple different interns (can be done from home)
• An intern with photoshop skills • A chat moderator for the live show Thursdays at 3pm pst • Editor for some simple cutting (I'd prefer this person to be in Los Angeles) • Forum thread creator - looking for someone to help keep the Forums active, by answering open threads and starting fun new ones.

Hey Folks,
It's been a crazy year, and an odd start to the new year. I'm not working right now so I have plenty of time to retool old projects and create new layouts, plot and plan, etc etc.
So I'm in talks with stickam to find a new time slot for my web show, an earlier slot, and slot with more potential traffic. A slot where people can comfortably hide behind their cubicle walls and throw me on while the boss isn't looking. So look out for that. It's kind of funny, we get about 20,000 viewers in the course of an hour now, and sometimes I get bummed when it only hits 16,000. (my youtube videos are lucky to even come cloe to 16k usually what an odd world of statistics this internet is).
In the mean time I've been focusing on making things prettier, more interesting and just generally having more content for when I'm not live.
check out the new layout at http://failpire.ning.com/ Check out the random web finds on our Tumblr! not to mention the hundreds of pictures and videos created and uploaded from members on our ning.
Speaking of members as a part of all the new changes we've come up with an idea for a new segment.
We're going to start doing 'Featured Member Shout Outs', you can already see it being implimented on the Ning. But we're going to start featuring a member profile on the show itself.
So if you're an artist, photographer, musician, video maker etc • sign up - (it's just like a more intimate version of myspace or facebook) • fill out your profile, • upload pictures, videos, songs, etc • and bamn you're on your way to being featured to our viewers.

Round 1 Starts Tomorrow - Short Race is a Weekly competition of local LA based teams and Global Web teams. You get 100 hrs to create a 3 to 7 minute video based on viewer suggestions. Short Race is also A LIVE WEB SHOW - every Sunday Local Teams will meet in person at a location to receive their video missions and broadcast live to viewers at http://stickam.com/samproofFind out more Here - teams need to create a team profile I'm still accepting teams for Round 1, but you have to be available from 2:30pm to about 4pm and able to get to the location in Hollywood to qualify for the Local team - you can still participate as a web team if you can't show up.
This is all about having fun, being creative and meeting other filmmakers - not entry fees, just good times.
Please contact me at failpire@gmail.com with your questions, or to get the location address if you want to be a part of the live broadcast.

Sadly the show was not saved on stickam because we crashed at the 45 minute mark. We think we have a failsafe in place for the next show, so even if we crash we'll have it saved. Also Stickam is going to try Monday to see if they can catch the show hidden in the nets and recover it. - Cross your fingers -
Snagged a few quick pics after the show, here's one just to wet your whistle folks
