Hey Folks,
It's been a crazy year, and an odd start to the new year. I'm not working right now so I have plenty of time to retool old projects and create new layouts, plot and plan, etc etc.
So I'm in talks with stickam to find a new time slot for my web show, an earlier slot, and slot with more potential traffic. A slot where people can comfortably hide behind their cubicle walls and throw me on while the boss isn't looking. So look out for that. It's kind of funny, we get about 20,000 viewers in the course of an hour now, and sometimes I get bummed when it only hits 16,000. (my youtube videos are lucky to even come cloe to 16k usually what an odd world of statistics this internet is).
In the mean time I've been focusing on making things prettier, more interesting and just generally having more content for when I'm not live.

not to mention the hundreds of pictures and videos created and uploaded from members on our ning.
Speaking of members as a part of all the new changes we've come up with an idea for a new segment.
We're going to start doing 'Featured Member Shout Outs', you can already see it being implimented on the Ning. But we're going to start featuring a member profile on the show itself.
So if you're an artist, photographer, musician, video maker etc
• sign up - (it's just like a more intimate version of myspace or facebook)
• fill out your profile,
• upload pictures, videos, songs, etc
• and bamn you're on your way to being featured to our viewers.

So I've heard it through the grapevine that the qualifiers have been notified already. Which Means The Wild Thing didn't make it. Which sucks, but what are you going to do?
So apparently there are 30 videos out there better than mine. Which honestly they must have been hiding because the shit I saw was just that.
There were so many forced videos of "OMG let's go on a roadtrip... for some reason." "Hey don't forget your guitar!". But Whatever, all I can do is say Youtube & Toyota have no taste and go on with my day.
Anyway So I'm gearing up for scriptfrenzy. There's another blog about it here.

So i recently signed up to eHow.com and just to get the feel for the site I took yea old Binder Clip reindeer video and turned it into a step by step article.
And like 2 days later I get an email from an editor saying she'd like to feature the article! So blam! I'm on the front page of eHow today. :)

I feel like all I do lately is talk about the internet, and this website or that website that I'm featured on... and I've come to a conclusion. That's what I do. This was always meant to be used as a blog to jot done my place in history. So I no longer feel any remorse about these types of entries.
This is the success I'm getting, so I'm going to be proud about it

| The Things I Do |

People are so funny.
It think maybe 20 people told me they'd try to do a video for me for The one I just put up, when in actuality only 6 people came through in the end (6 people who I can't thank enough!)
But now that it's up (and getting a pretty amazingly good response) everyone's like "I wanted to be in that!"
silly people.
BUT! if you're one of those people, and you want to be in the next video, for now all I need are people reading 1 line, 3 words... you can be funny, enthusiastic, crazy, loud, whatever. Send me multiple takes, send me bloopers, hell send me your cat.

| Back from the Bok |

OK, so I just got in from my morning jog... by which I mean Reebok Audition.
Thankfully I find the sneakers I haven't worn in 8 months before I head out.
I show up to what looks like the back room of a boxing ring. There's ceiling high fencing that cages all actors into a little pen - so we don't escape I guess. I think it's awesome, very Brave New World or something. I wait for a screen to drop down from the ceiling to tell me things like "there's no I in team" and "History is bunk"
I settle down with a page of lines, fill out a little half page for and size up my competition... of which there is only one and you swear you've seen her in those Black and White adds from what ever clothing company did tat seies of naked people a while back. She's a tall African American woman, that looks nothing like me. I see how she wants to play it. She's going down.
Everntally more people enter, including a guy with a wicked Afro, ala Omar from At The Drive-In, and another guy with dreads. after wating ten minutes the girl goes in, and about 5 minutes later it's my turn. I go in and they have me jog (lightly) in place while reciting some lines about planetary cosmology and interstellar space travel.
I jog for about 6 solid minutes as the director throws new lines at me and I repeat them back.
They're testing to see if I die.
